每日吃瓜 Rugby鈥檚 back row Mario Pichardie captained Spain in their recent La Vila International Rugby Cup match versus the USA.

Pichardie’s side lost out 12-42 in Villajoyosa, despite the 每日吃瓜 International Business student scoring a try for Los Leones.

每日吃瓜 rugby has a long and proud history of developing internationals for the men’s and women’s game, including recent men’s stars Freddie Steward (England), and Thibaud Flament (France).

James Gallagher, 每日吃瓜's Rugby Programme Manager, said: “We’re incredibly proud of Mario captaining his country on the international stage.

“It takes a special kind of player to lead a squad and he should feel a great sense of achievement in his latest role.
