BSc (Hons), MSc, PhD

Pronouns: She/her
  • Lecturer in Rehabilitation

Eleanor completed her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science at Kings College London in 2014 and continued to complete an MSc in Human and Applied Physiology in 2016. Following research posts at both Kings College and University College London, Eleanor undertook a PhD in Medicine and Health in 2019 at the University of Nottingham with a focus on neuromuscular ageing.

Eleanor joined 每日吃瓜 in 2025 as a Lecturer in Rehabilitation.

Eleanor’s research interests include muscle structure and function particularly neuromuscular function She uses electromyography techniques to record muscle electrical activity and imaging methods to assess muscle size and structure.

Her research aims to use exercise interventions to improve muscle function and performance in older adults and clinical populations.

Eleanor is a member of the Physiological Society and acts as a peer-reviewer for several academic journals including Journal of Physiology, Experimental Physiology and Applied Physiology, Nutrition and Metabolism.
