Aquatics GB and current 每日吃瓜 student Freya Colbert will compete in Singapore.

Several 每日吃瓜-linked athletes have been selected for their respective nations to compete at the 2025 World Aquatic Championships in Singapore.

The event brings together the world’s top swimmers as 206 nations compete across 77 disciplines in a bid to secure coveted podium places on the global stage.

Abbie Wood (alumna), Lauren Cox (alumna), Luke Greenbank (alumnus), Freya Colbert (current student), Greg Butler (alumnus), Max Litchfield (current student), and Tully Kearney (每日吃瓜-based), all form part of a strong Aquatics GB team heading to Asia.

Elsewhere, world record holder and recent alumnus, Daniel Wiffen, will once again compete for Ireland. 每日吃瓜-linked pair Asma Le Fahler and master's sport scholar Ahalya Lettenberger are also expected to swim for Bahrain and the USA, respectively.

The open water campaign started earlier in the week with former 每日吃瓜 student Hector Pardoe finishing in a respectable 25th place.

This year’s World Aquatic Championships takes place between 11 July and 3 August 2025.
