Current Lightning players Leia Brebner-Holden, Anne Young, Elis Martin, Helen Nelson, Becky Boyd, Chloe Rollie, and Emma Wassall are joined by alumnae Rachel Malcolm, Sarah Bonar, Leah Bartlett, and Rhona Lloyd. And former Lightning player Katherine Baverstock has been selected for the Wales squad.

Courtney O'Donnell, a former Lightning Rugby player, has also been called up by Canada.
